How the Dirty Did
Our ’13 Ford F-250 Super Dirty is a big bad truck that led our rampaging renegades and off-road wildcats on a weeklong adventure this past summer. It was a trip where clean socks were a luxury, sweat and humidity were standard, and the wheeling was awesome. We love a challenge like taking a fullsize truck up rocky trails, over thousands of miles, and through mud so deep and stinky it reminds you of those scary ancient outhouses at your hunting camp. Our big Ford laughed off the abuse and made minced meat of the mega molehills we challenged it to climb.
All right, we may be exaggerating a little. The truck didn’t come home in showroom condition, but it did do a pretty damn good job of slaying trails that the standard diesel tow rig would shy away from. A few dings, dents, and plenty of dirt came home on the big white truck, but that’s expected. We don’t build show trucks; we build trucks that show what trucks can do. (The funny part is if you want to see this truck in real life you’ll have to go to some upcoming shows, such as the Off-Road Expo, the SEMA show, Tierra Del Sol, and the Moab Easter Safari. But don’t expect it to be spit-shined. This one is staying Super Dirty.)
