Disassembled Starter

The engine cranked over unusually slowly, so I pulled the starter and discovered the bearings were rusty and hard to turn by hand. Some of the hard copper electrical connector thingies inside (I'm not Trasborg and don't know the technical jargon) were cracked and bleeding amperage. A new $40 starter from NAPA sealed the deal and the engine subsequently spun like a top.
