With the exception of the Sahara models with body-colored plastics, most JK Wranglers are festooned with black plastic body panels that weren’t mixed with enough UV protectant. The result? Expect faded gray, chalky plastics on vehicles in the Sunbelt. With the exception of the fender flares, most of the plastic is removed when upgrading bumpers, so use it to haggle down the price, but don’t let it bum you out on an otherwise clean candidate.
