Grab a flashlight and inspect the grease seal boots on the front and rear driveshaft CVs. Cracked or ripped boots spell water and dirt contamination for the fragile CVs. Certain doom and driveshaft replacement is the result. If you’re checking out a Rubicon, make sure the front and rear lockers function. Don’t forget you need to have the vehicle’s T-case in low range for the lockers to work.
