Giving a new purchase the once-over is awesome. There were clearly two separate signs painted on Piggy’s doors hiding under a coat of rattle-can gray primer. A little wet-sanding and some work with a Scotch-Brite pad revealed luxurious, patina’d green paint and the knowledge that Piggy was a fleet vehicle for the General Services Administration, or GSA for short. It then spent time as a work truck for something called Greedy Pig’s All Service (or is that an editorial comment on the GSA?). Luckily for us, there’s a hand-painted pig smoking a stogie on both of the doors. Why would you primer over this thing?
