Removing Filler Neck From Gas Tank

We knew Piggy had a small gas leak, but we suspected the filler neck hoses since we could see that at least the filler vent hose was cracked nearly all the way from the tank to the gas cap. When we pulled the somewhat-squished factory skidplate we found that the tank had been flexed and a couple of small cracks had developed. Also, did we mention that the gas gauge did not work? Well that’s because the brass float was filled with gas.
