After cruising down the road at a pretty good clip and climbing a fairly steep hill at speed, we suddenly smelled burning oil. A turn of the head confirmed our sense of smell when we saw white smoke billowing out the back of the ’56. A quick trip to the parts store and a parking lot oil filter swap got us back on the road.
