We have 1-inch offset-drilled centerpin holes in both our spring perch and U-bolt plates that we were using for moving the axle at some time in the past. Once we got the springs in, we found we had to use the center hole as the drag link and tie rod are already colliding. We’ll play with steering after we settle on wider axles. For now it was time to cut those stock shock towers off the frame. Take care when cutting on these frames, as they are only 1⁄8-inch-thick and cutting or scoring the frame can lead to cracks down the road.
