Once we had the pinion angle set and had measured a few hundred times to make sure the axle was centered under the Jeep, we burned the spring perches home with our trusty Lincoln Power Mig 255 welder. One thing we’ve noticed over the years is that the cooling fan blows across the work area if we are on the ground in our driveway. So, we use this old piece of wood to deflect the wind from the fan away from the work area when we are welding on our backs.
