Freighted and heading due north for our yearly partridge hunt, we found the handling, both on- and off-road, to be vastly superior with the new Rubicon Express suspension. With the previous 4-inch short-arm kit, pavement pounding was akin to dancing with a large lady (you went where she wanted to go) and rough roads gave you an Iron-Mike level beating. Squirrely, unpredictable mid-corner scares, bump steer and a bone-jarring ride are things of the past, and our Pro Comp wheel-and-tire combination rolled quiet and true all the way up to 80 mph.
