  • 19.) The next challenge was getting the new serpentine belt correctly routed and around the supercharger pulley.

  • 20.) Before moving on to wiring, Dave buttoned up the install by reinstalling vacuum hoses, the factory vapor hose, PCV valve, coil, and driver-side plug wires, along with routing the throttle and cruise control cables on the throttle body.

  • 21.) Using only highest OEM-quality Weatherpack and butt connectors, the bulk of the rewiring was a cinch. The directions included in the kit make splicing in to your harness a pain-free event.

  • 24.) The last step before we could fire up the engine and go for a testdrive was to reprogram the factory ECU with a custom tune supplied by BamaChips on an SCT X-Calibrator box. A turn of the key resulted in the engine firing on the first try and distinct supercharger whine emanating from Project RangeRunner's engine compartment.
