Somewhat cannibalized, the engine compartment is lacking an alternator, radiator, batteries, and various other items. We put some oil in the crankcase and removed the remains of the shroud before cranking the motor over. Oil coming out of the disconnected cooler lines proved that the oil pump still works. Bridging the oil and transmission cooler lines with hose will work for now on this air-cooled engine. View Related Article
