2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 Front View Trail
As you can see from this photo, we're moving right along with the modifications on our new project Rhino. In future episodes expect to see us install Fabtech's long-travel kit, a new winch and front bumper package, a whole assortment of power upgrades, and creature-comfort bolt-ons.

2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 Unbolt Factory Pieces
Installation was as simple as unbolting the factory pieces and bolting in the new assembly, though it did require four people to appropriately fit the unit. Once in place all we had to do was tighten up the bolts. Rigid offers these cages in both raw uncoated or powdercoated black.

2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 Assemble Cage
It took three adults to install the new cage, mostly because of the awkward shape and precision fit of the piece. Once in place, the guys at Rigid made quick work of securing it to the chassis.

Rigid also offers a snap-in fabric soft top to protect riders from the heat. The top is made to last with fade-resistant fabric and industrial-strength snaps. Additionally, Velcro secures the perimeter of the top to each tube for added support.

2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 Billet Aluminum Mirror
Another trick product that Rigid Industries offers is this bolt-on billet-aluminum mirror. We really like this option because we found out the hard way on our first time out in the Rhino that you have to constantly look over your shoulder to ensure safety when changing directions. It is way too easy to inadvertently make a mistake and cut in front of a faster moving vehicle in sand washes and other wide-open areas. This mirror provides the driver with a clear view of what's happening behind.
