MR. CLEAN
Mike and Pam Debruyn of Newton, Iowa, own one clean '75 Ford F-250. Powering the big Ford is a 428 V-8 compressing fuel and air at 10.5:1 to make plenty of horsepower. That power is handed off to a C6 transmission and an NP203 transfer case. Suspension is by a 4-inch Skyjacker lift, and the axles are a Dana 44 in the front and a Dana 60 out back. The Dana 44 was upgraded to disc brakes and both axles run 4.10 gears. Tires are 39.5-inch Swampers on 16.5x12 Weld Super Single II wheels.
TOYVETTE
John Burke, who hails from Springfield, Missouri, wanted to build his '94 Toyota pickup into something wild. So out came the stock four-banger and in went an LT-1 350 V-8 out of a '94 Corvette. A Turbo 350 was drafted for transmission duties and a Dana 300 splits the power. The IFS setup was ditched and in its place was put a Dana 44; in the rear rests a Dana 60. Skyjacker springs were then used to supply enough lift to run 44-inch Boggers on 15x14 Weld Typhoon wheels.
UTAH JEEP
Living in Provo, Utah, gives Paul Auger access to some of the best trails in the country. So it was no wonder when looking for a vehicle that he went out and bought a Jeep TJ. A 4-inch Pro Comp suspension went into place to provide flex and enough room to mount 33-inch tires on 15-inch American Racing wheels. Next, Detroit Lockers went into both the front and rear axles to enhance the Jeep's abilities. A Flowmaster muffler frees up the exhaust flow.
CAMO CHEVY
Alliance, Nebraska resident Cory Appleyard likes to go 'wheeling in his '79 Chevy, which gains its altitude from a 6-inch Superlift suspension lift and a 3-inch body lift. Tires are 38-inch Swampers on 15x10 American Racing wheels. A part-time conversion was performed on the NP203 and custom driveshafts were made to connect to the 10-bolt front and 12-bolt rear. Powering the big Chevy is the stock 350 V-8 that sends power through a TH350 automatic transmission.
