1999 Chevrolet Silverado Passenger Side View

Big Dog
Andy Mickley, of Pensacola, Florida, is the proud owner of this '99 Chevy Silverado. When he began modifying it, his first step was to install a 4-inch Trailmaster lift kit. Then he added a 3-inch body lift. This setup got ditched in favor of a 6-inch Superlift suspension that eventually was replaced with a 10-inch Whiplash lift. The new lift provided enough clearance for 39x18 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tires on 16.5x14 Weld Super Single wheels. To return this truck's overall gear ratio to an appropriate point, 4.56 gears were installed front and rear, and then Andy added a Flowmaster exhaust and a Hypertech Power Programmer. Other goodies include a set of Explorer Pro Comp traction bars, a Harwood cowl induction hood, Smittybilt nerf bars, a spray-in bedliner, and a custom paint job.

1990 Toyota 4Runner Passenger Side View

Runner
Another creation from Andy Mickley is this '90 Toyota 4Runner. After running a lifted IFS setup for a while, Andy ditched the original front suspension in favor of a live-axle conversion complete with All Pro crossover steering and 7-inch lift springs. A Toyota axle was used up front while a Dana 60 resides out back. In the front is a Truetrac while a Detroit Locker does duty in the rear. Both axles use 4.10 gears to spin the massive 39.5x18 Boggers on 15x14 Weld Sidewinder wheels. Providing power is a 330hp Chevy 350 V-8 hooked up to a TH350 transmission.

2001 Toyota Tundra Driver Side View

Tweaked Tundra
It is rare that we see a tricked-out Tundra, but this '01 model fills the bill. It's the work of Robert Nielsen of Palm Desert, California. To lift it, a 3-inch Fabtech lift went on along with 2.5-inch buckets. A further 3 inches of lift comes from a body lift. All that clearance made enough room for 36-inch Swamper SSRs on 16x12 Eagle aluminum wheels. The 4.7L V-8 is aided by a set of JBA headers and a Flowmaster dual exhaust. A billet grille and clear corner lights are used to help improve the Tundra's looks.

2001 Ford F 350 Super Duty Driver Side View

Heartland Super Duty
Cruising around Jefferson, Iowa, are Ryan Smith and his '01 Ford F-350 Super Duty. Ryan's Ford came from the factory with a Powerstroke diesel and a six-speed manual transmission. A K&N air filter system and a dual exhaust help add some power to the already high output of the 7.3L diesel. Lift comes in the form of custom National Springs with Bilstein shocks. Bushwacker fender flares were used to help clear the massive 40x17 Ground Hawgs on 16.5x12 Weld Typhoon aluminum wheels.

1999 Isuzu Rodeo Front Driver Side View

Rockin' Rodeo
Not too many folks build Isuzu Rodeos, but that didn't stop Dyno Kam from San Jose, California. Starting with a '99 model, he added a 3.5-inch Calmini lift complete with Rancho RS 9000 shocks. The stock aluminum wheels were used with 32x11.50 BFGoodrich All-Terrains. A Magnaflow exhaust and an Injen air intake system help boost the output of the stock V-6. Up front is found a Smittybilt Outland Grille Guard along with a full complement of PIAA lights.

1987 Jeep Wrangler Driver Side View

Dirt Devil
Gary Kunkleman, of Elida, Ohio, owns this '87 Jeep Wrangler that has undergone plenty of changes since he bought it used in 1994. A new 258ci inline-six is fitted with a Mopar fuel-injection kit. From there power goes to the stock automatic tranny and an Atlas II transfer case. The front axle is a Tri-County Gear-built Dana 44 with 4.88 gears and an ARB Air Locker. Out back rests a Dana 60, also from Tri-County Gear, equipped with a Detroit Locker and 4.88 gears. A Rubicon Express 4-inch lift clears the way for 36-inch Super Swampers on 15x8 American Racing steel wheels.

1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport Front Driver Side View

Sporty Wrangler
Chris Luczun likes to get out and explore the wilds around his hometown of Clifton, North Carolina, in his '97 Jeep Wrangler Sport. To provide a little lift and a lot more flex, a Rancho 3-inch lift, complete with RS 9000 shocks, was installed. This created enough space for 33x12.50 BFGoodrich All-Terrains on 15x10 American Racing steel wheels. A push bar was put up front and rocker guards were slapped on to protect the Jeep's body. Tunes come from a 12-disc CD changer.

1997 Ford F 150 Front Driver Side View

Maryland F-150
Baltimore, Maryland resident Timothy Ullman built this nice example of a '97 Ford F-150. To gain altitude, a 4-inch Rancho suspension lift was installed. The new suspension made enough lift for 35x12.50 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains on 16.5x9.75 Centerline wheels. As many Lund products as Timothy could get his hands on were then used to spruce up the looks of the F-150. Finally a K&N air filter was installed to help the V-8 breathe.
