1965 Toyota FJ45 Driver Side View

On Safari
Bakersfield, California resident Frank Arian's '65 Toyota FJ45 Land Cruiser looks like it came straight off of an African safari. The stock inline six-cylinder engine was rebuilt along with the rest of the stock drivetrain. A custom-made brushguard was made to protect the front, along with a custom rear rack to carry extra gear. Con Ferr shackles and add-a-leaves were used to gain a little extra lift to provide room for the 32-inch Super Swamper SSRs. Finally, a full set of communications equipment and a GPS unit were put in the cab.

1984 Jeep CJ 7 Passenger Side View

The Looker
Ash Pharo, from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin gets plenty of looks in his '84 Jeep CJ-7. The first step in creating this beauty was to remove the body and repaint the frame. After that, a Chevy 350 V-8 crate engine was dropped into place, along with a TH350 transmission. To help put the power to the ground a Lock-Right was put into the rear axle and a limited slip rests up front. For suspension, a 6-inch BDS lift was used along with a 2-inch body lift, which made enough clearance for 33x14.50 Swamper SSRs on 15x10 American Racing wheels. Finally, Best Bods painted the whole body.

 1992 Chevrolet Driver Side View

Black and Beautiful
Frank Squeo, from Bensenville, Illinois, owns this nice example of a '92 Chevy pickup. First to go on it was a 6-inch Pro Comp lift which cleared the way for 35-inch Super Swamper SSRs on 15x10 American Racing wheels. Next, the 350 V-8 was treated to a set of MSD wires, a K&N air cleaner, Gibson headers, and a dual exhaust. For the long hauls, a full Alpine audio system was put into place to play the tunes. Future plans call for a 502 V-8 swap.

1997 Ford Expedition Passenger Side View

Excellent Expedition
Michael Libonati, of Howell, New Jersey, is the proud owner of this '97 Ford Expedition. A 4-inch Rancho lift kit was put into place to make plenty of clearance for the 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires on American Racing wheels. To spruce the look of the Expedition up a bit a cowl-induction hood, billet grille, and Grizzly brushguard were put into place. The interior also received a complete video system with a DVD player, VCR, and 6-inch screens.

1979 Ford F 250 Front Driver Side View

Canadian F-250
It is rare that we see a built SuperCab but Glen Green, of Maple Ridge, British Colombia, owns this super-nice '79 Ford F-250. Under the hood rests a 429 V-8 equipped with an Edelbrock 600cfm carb. Power flows to a C6 transmission and an NP205 transfer case. To lift the big Ford, 6-inch Skyjacker springs were used along with a 3-inch body lift making plenty of room for the 38-inch Super Swampers. A custom front bumper houses a Warn 8000 winch, should the big rig ever get stuck.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado Front Passenger Side View

Newbie
Hailing from Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, are Jayson Peck and his 2000 Chevy Silverado. To boost power a Flowmaster exhaust was put into place and future plans call for JBA headers and a K&N air intake. Extra altitude comes from a 4-inch Rancho lift that clears 295/75R16 BFGoodrich All-Terrains on 16x8 American Racing Atlas wheels. Finally a set of Westin nerf bars along with a grille guard were put into place.

1966 Jeep CJ 5 Front Driver Side View

Old School
Mike Boyink bought his '66 Jeep CJ-5 from his father in 1986. Power comes from a Buick 225 V-6 which mates to a T90 transmission and a Spicer 18 transfer case. A Rancho lift along with Rancho RS 5000 shocks were used to provide more articulation and clear the way for 32x11.50 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains on Stockton wheels. The interior features a full rollcage, bucket seats, and five-point harnesses to protect Mike and his passenger.

1998 Dodge Durango Front Passenger Side View

Super Soccer Mom
Tanya Taylor, of Texas City, Texas, tweaked her '98 Dodge Durango with a 3-inch Rancho suspension lift complete with RSX shocks. Enough clearance was made with this setup for 32x11.50 BFGoodrich All-Terrains on 15x8 Weld Outback aluminum wheels. Under the hood is a stock 5.9L V-8, which is aided by a K&N air filter and a Flowmaster exhaust system. Up front rests a brushguard complete with 6-inch Pro Comp lights for nocturnal outings.
