1973 Ford Bronco Driver Side View

Bucking Bronco
Darin Iversen of Gualala, California, is the owner of one sweet '73 Ford Bronco. Powering the steed is a 289 V-8 that has been bored 0.30 and equipped with an Edelbrock carb and intake, and headers. Backing up the V-8 is an NP435 four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 20 transfer case. Up front is a Dana 44 equipped with disc brakes, heavy-duty shafts and an Ox Locker. In the rear is a Ford 9-inch with 31-spline shafts along with a Detroit Locker. Both ends feature 4.10 gears. For flex the Bronco uses a 5 1/2-inch Wild Horses suspension kit that clears 35-inch Ground Hawgs.

1983 Jeep CJ 8 Driver Side View

Scrambled
Strafford, Missouri resident Zach Summers spends his time hitting the trails in his '83 Jeep CJ-8. Smoothing out the ride and providing flex is a 4-inch Skyjacker suspension kit. Rubber comes in the form of 33x12.50 Goodyear MTs on 15x10 American Racing aluminum wheels. Up front is a Dana 30 axle while a Ford 9-inch is found out back. Both axles are equipped with Lock Right lockers and 4.11 gears. Providing propulsion is a 258 inline-six that has been outfitted with fuel injection. A custom rollcage, RCI racing seats, and five-point harnesses protect occupants.

Fordalicious
Hailing from Norman Park, Georgia, are Wade Hurst Jr. and his '93 Ford F-150. For suspension Wade used 6-inch Superlift springs and moved the mounts down 3 inches to provide even more lift. A 3-inch body lift was also thrown into position to clear the meaty 39x18 Mickey Thompson Baja Belteds on 15x12 American Eagle aluminum wheels. Under the hood is a 5.0L V-8 that has been massaged with an aftermarket intake, injectors and a chip. Also helping to turn the tires a bit more quickly are 4.56 gears front and rear.

2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Driver Side View

Stuck in the Muck
Buried underneath all that mud are Michael Matlock of Monroe, North Carolina, and his '01 Chevy Silverado 1500. Raising the Chevy 6 inches is a Pro Comp lift kit along with rear add-a-leaves. More Pro Comp parts come in the form of 35-inch Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires on 16x10 Weld Stone Crusher wheels. To help spin the tires through the mud, a K&N filter, a Gibson exhaust system and a Hypertech chip were applied to the 5.3L V-8. The inside of the pickup bed was sprayed with Line X while the inside of the cab was outfitted with a Kenwood stereo and 10-disc CD changer.

 1981 Toyota Driver Side View

Toyota Tough
Cruising around Dexter, Oregon, is Brian Herman and his '81 Toyota pickup. A 5-inch lift makes enough room for 32-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains on 15x8 wheels. Brian wisely invested in a full rollcage for the inside of the cab. He also added bucket seats to help keep the occupants in place. The four-banger under the hood was kept stock but was outfitted with a K&N filter. Other mods include a heavier flywheel and Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. Brian says his rig might not be as fancy as some, but it gets him where he wants to go.
