Down Under Suzuki

Graham Sampson, of Melbourne, Australia, sent us this shot of his trail-prepped '87 Suzuki Sierra. The rig sports 34-inch Super Swampers on 15x8 US Wheel alloys. Lift comes from a set of 2.5-inch Old Man EMU rear springs on extended shackles, with the rears being 3/4-elliptic. A stock engine and gearbox mate to a 6:1 transfer case. Wide-track axles packed with an ARB up front and a Detroit in the rear help keep this lightweight foreigner going through even the roughest of Australian outback.

Father/Son Hunting Toy

Matt Nelsen of Iowa Falls, Iowa, drives this '90 Toyota pickup every day. He also uses it for hunting trips with his 13-year-old son Fenton. As such, Matt has kept the rig fairly stock for now. It rides on 31-inch tires, has a K&N filter, and a custom brushguard with Desert Fox auxiliary lights.

Mud Bath Bronco

Tyler Hunt from Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada, isn't afraid to hammer down in his '92 Ford Bronco. Sporting a 6-inch Pro Comp lift and a Detroit Truetrac differential up front and a Trac-Lok out back, Tyler has no problem keeping up with his buddies in their built Jeeps.

Kansas TJ

This '03 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon belongs to David McNaught of Humboldt, Kansas. Sporting the factory 4.0L six-cylinder, five-speed, and Dana 44s, all David needed was a Rubicon Express 3.5-inch suspension system and a 1-inch body lift to clear Pro Comp 35-inch M/Ts. David tells us his shop built the tube fenders, front stinger bumper, and side nerf bars. Up front, a trusty Ramsey 9,000-pound winch is on standby for frequent trips to Disney, Oklahoma.

Eric's '87 Toy

This built '87 Toyota pickup is owned by Eric Lorinez of Burlington, Kentucky. It features a GM 4.3L V-6 mated to a built 700R4 transmission. From there, torque is split by a pair of Toyota transfer cases. Axles are both Toyota with 4.88:1 gears and lockers. The front axle also features Longfield axleshafts. The custom home-brew suspension consists of a combination of Toyota and Dodge leaf packs and Rancho shocks. A set of 36-inch Super Swamper TSLs provide the traction. A bobbed bed and full interior rollcage round out the list of mods.

OD Laredo

This '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo belongs to Brett Davis of Raleigh, North Carolina. It features a stock drivetrain for now. To help the 5.2L V-8 breathe better, Brett added a K&N FIPK and a Flowmaster exhaust system. For additional cargo space, Brett added a Surco roof rack. To clear 32-inch Goodyear MT/Rs, Brett installed a 3.5-inch Rubicon Express Superflex kit with monotube shocks. Brett plans on adding 2 more inches of lift, 33s, a custom-fabbed front winch bumper, and rear tire-carrier bumper soon.

Missouri-Built Cherokee

Randy Buescher of O'Fallon, Missouri, drives this '97 Jeep Cherokee. It features a 3.5-inch Tuff Country suspension lift, 31-inch Trail Digger tires, a Flowmaster exhaust system, an Airaid intake setup, and a skidplate by The Four X Doctor. Nice rig, Randy.

Grasshopper

Dean Greucich of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, flies this '78 Ford F-250 flatbed whenever possible. The rig is powered by a 351 Windsor V-8. Underneath there are Dana 60s locked and loaded with 4.11:1 gearing. Thirty-five-inch Boggers cushion the landings, and a full rollcage provides some margin of safety during Dean's high-flying adventures. Nice shot, Dean.

Yellow Submarine TJ

Steve Kraft of Orlando, Florida, drives this '01 Jeep TJ equipped with the 4.0L and NV3550 five-speed transmission. The transfer case has been upgraded with a short-shaft conversion kit, while the stock Dana axles also feature upgrades. Up front, Steve installed an ARB Air Locker; and out back he added a Super 35 axleshaft kit with a Detroit Locker. Flex comes from a Rubicon Express 4.5-inch Superflex kit. Thirty-five-inch Baja Claws ensure grip while a Warn HS 9500i sits ready for extractions. Other additions include Allied bead locks, rock rails, corner guards, and Bushwacker fender flares.
