Brute-Icon
Randy Cupp of Haltom City, Texas, along with his buddy Mike Street, built this '04 Jeep Rubicon Brute as a daily driver. The rig rides on a 2-inch Teraflex lift kit with Rancho RS9000 shocks. Other features include a Superwinch winch mounted on the Fab Fours Lifestyle front bumper, and the interior has a custom rock treatment that ties in with the exterior paint. Recently this rig won "Best in Show" at the Dallas AutoRama car show.
Humboldt Express
Chris Potter of Ukiah, California, built this '89 Jeep Cherokee to reach the high regions of Humboldt County (pun intended-Ed.). Dense forests and lush vegetation make trails in the area perfect for a nimble XJ like Chris'. Terrain-friendly modifications include a 6 1/2-inch Rough Country suspension system, a slip-yoke eliminator with an upgraded rear driveshaft, and a trusty set of 33-inch mud tires on 15-inch aluminum wheels.
Home On The Range
Jack Carter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, drives this '07 Chevy 2500 longbed everywhere he goes. Sporting a Duramax diesel prepped with an aFe cold-air intake, Magnaflow 4-inch exhaust system, and 100hp injectors, this oil-burner can tug just about any trailer on the road. Jack uses the rig primarily for daily runs to and from the fields around his ranch home, where he manages free-range cattle. So it's safe to say Jack's cows get a thrill ride whenever in tow. The chrome-plated Reunel front winch bumper allows Jack to push his way through herds that occasionally block the road. The 6-inch CST suspension system is accented with dual Fox shocks up front and remote reservoirs out back.
Tight Taco
This '07 Toyota Tacoma belongs to Shawn Brodoski of Ukiah, California. The truck was treated to a 6-inch Fabtech suspension lift featuring 2.5-inch Dirt Logic shocks. A set of 33-inch Toyo Open Country M/Ts are wrapped around a set of KMC Monster wheels. Inside, the rig sports a plethora of sound and visual upgrades built by DFM Car Stereo of Ukiah.
Texas Terror
Dennis Warren of Fort Worth, Texas, rocks this totally custom '97 TJ, built by Mike Street. This rig has been totally tricked out, leaving only the body and dash stock, but yet it still remains Dennis' daily driver. Under the hood is a 5.7L Hemi with 345 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque coupled to a 545RFE five-speed transmission. The axles are out of a Ford F-350 and have been narrowed to fit the TJ chassis. The suspension uses a Fabtech kit, with Rancho RS9000 shocks riding on 37-inch Nitto Mud Grapplers.
Built To The Hilt Bronco
Jim Wilson of Freedom, California, put together his dream ride with help from a good buddy, Mark Train of Salinas, California. Together the pair took a bone-stock '71 Bronco and built a super-capable trail machine that also turns heads on the streets. Under the hood lurks a fuel-injected 5.0L V-8 that is mated to an NV235 four-speed transmission and Atlas 2 transfer case. From there, torque is split between a pair of Dynatrac ProRock 60 axles equipped with ARB Air Lockers front and rear. A Wild Horses suspension system, along with a 3-inch body lift, allows ample clearance for 37-inch Fun Country II tires on Dick Cepek wheels. The electric lime-green exterior of this rig features Wild Horses fiberglass door inserts, a Pro Flow fiberglass hood, and black Gorilla Warflair fender flairs to accentuate the wheel openings. Grease Ball Motorsports tubular half doors were added for safety and a stout pair of Rocksolid Proto Fab bumpers were mounted at each end. The front bumper houses a Warn 9.5XP winch and Hella Black Magic lights. The Interior features a bolt-in Proto Fab family cage and Beard suspension seats. Sweet rig, Jim!
