Before you buy: Size does matter with watercraft: There are ones that seat a single rider and others that can fit four. Also, decide if you want a stand-up or sit-down version of a personal watercraft (PWC), or a sit-on-top or sit-in style of kayak. Shorter watercraft are typically more maneuverable, while wider and longer ones tend to be more stable but lack the precise handling. Longer kayaks are often quicker, and bigger engines are faster than smaller ones, of course. Also, check your local water laws-some types of two-stroke engines are not allowed because of noise and emissions. And make sure your truck is built to carry the weight of the model (or models) you choose.
