Here&8217s a look at the production Korando. We had a chance to drive this five-speed, and we were quite impressed. With fairly low gearing, a torquey Mercedes straight-six, an ABD traction-control system, and a short wheelbase of 98 inches, this should be a fairly competent 4x4.

The rear seat was removed so a 22-gallon fuel cell could be installed. The 10-inch-travel, remote-reservoir, external-bypass Bilstein race shocks were mounted to the rollcage, which was fabricated from 13/4-inch chrome-moly tubing.
