Hello everyone, im Anna. I have a problem and hoping that you guys can help identify the manufacturer of these parts. My boss asked me to look for them and since I have no idea about these parts, so thats why im here :( the parts are for 2 1/2 ton truck: -axle differential assembly -rear axle assembly -front axle assembly -front axle differential assembly -transmission -transfer case -long block, engine -engine---> Hercules (this is the only part that my boss told me) I hope u guys can help me since I know nothing about trucks etc. :( so far i found Boyce and Dana.. but i don't know if they have these parts for 2 1/2 ton trucks. I have a 1986 dodge powerram 150 with the automatic. I would like to know how difficult it would be to swap in a manual transmission from an '84 powerram 250. Both trucks have the same size engines (5.2 L). I've already planned on swapping the 3/4 ton axles to the 1/2 truck. Both trucks are long wheel bases so I figure that the driveshafts shouldn't have to be shortened/lengthened. I'm a full time paramedic student so price is a big issue

I am new here to the site, but I have a 1990 Suburban 4x4. Well I put new rotors, calip, and pads on the front. Well I bled the lines following a chiltons book. Well I bled them once and the pedal still went to the floor with no resistance in the pedal. So I bled it again and same thing, well I repeated this enough times to go trough 3 big bottles of brake fluid with no results. Well I unplugged the booster vaccum line, and the pedal gets harder but not back to normal and I have to smash the pedal through the floor just to barely stop. I dont know if its the booster or master cylinder or something else. But when the booster vac. line is plugged in and I press the pedal it makes an air hissing noise only when the brake pedal is being moved. I have done brakes a hundred times before but this has got me stumped. I am about to give up and just take it in and have it fixed, but dont feel like paying money for something I can do. Any info anyone has will be awesome. Thanks in advance.

hi im 17 and just bought a 1991 K2500 4x4 with a 4speed manual. i get around 17 mpg highway =) i really dont know how. it has a rebuilt 350 motor with a edelbrock carb. it's nothing fancy, it has 31" low profile mud tires that i put on and the exhuast was cut off under the cab before the cat. it is the best truck i have ever owned.. i dont ritely know why im postin this,, just felt like getten noticed i reckon..

ok im new to this forum thing so bare with me, but i have a serious issue with this 82 chevy silverado, first thing is that im not sure how much lift it has but a buddy said it looked like a 4 or 6 all suspension, next thing it has a 208 tcase and when i brought it home and put it on the lift to further inspect what i had, i found that the front driveshaft constant velocity joint stuff was cut out and filled full of sylicone, in shock i decided to take it to my local driveshaft company and have it fixed, once the guy looked at it he said he will fix it but he didnt think it would work but said to just make sure that it drops down past the pinion and to make sure it doesnt bind up in that position so that when i bolt it up it wont rebreak. Once i put the driveshaft up to the tcase it was angled out right at the pinion so now im lost other than leaf spring shims to readjust the pinion agle but was curious if there is something els that could cause this as the idiots who built the truck were deff not good mechanics. ahh I dont like the sound of either, I deff dont like the price of a custom driveshaft so I think what ill do is bolt the driveshaft to the tcase and let it hang down by the pinion and add shims (not sure which size) but enough to leave me with about 4 degrees of caster of the 6 i have right now and then jack the frame up till the driveshaft meets the pinion and then put a chain from the frame to the u bolts on both sides and put the chain in a bicycle tire tube so you dont see the chain so that way when and if i ever drop it off in a bad spot it wont allow the driveshaft to bind up but i see alot of trucks where i live running 1/2 trucks with 8 inch suspencion lifts and they dont have a special driveshaft and it stumpes me as to what the hell there doin so maybe ill just stop one of them and get some more info but even then one of my buddies said he doesnt understand why mine is causeing me trouble, it is a 1/2 body with 3/4 ton axles but i didnt think that would matter..

Excellent set of wheels/tires, in great condition. Wheels are Rubicon 20" chrome, 6 lug pattern (Fit Fords and similar 6 lug vehicles) no warping, dents, dings or scratches. They are truly in beautiful shape. Tires are 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrains, they are in great shape as well. 80%+ life remaining. These tires are over $320 a piece ($1,280), great all purpose tire for on or off road. Switched over from a Ford to a Chevy, so they no longer fit my lug pattern. Hey folks, I am looking to place some larger tires on Stock 2007 F 350 with SRW. Plan on two inch leveling kit for front, and am wondering if 35 inch tires (not sure which yet) will fit on 17 X 8 wheels and if so ,,what backspacing should I need. May go for 17X 9 inch wheel if it will better accomodate the 35 's but am still in need of proper back spacing so I can sort out the tire wheel combo before I show up at tire place. Oops, Truck is four wheel drive, 5.4 litre Gas, 4.10 Gears, five speed manual trans. FX4 Off road model. Am leaning towrds BFG mud terrain or xxxx Cepek MT many thanks in advance, Lee.

got 1988 ranger 2.9l wa :confused: i need this magazine or someone's help on this i coped all conversions off the ranger station on this project maybe i won't have to do as much as i've seen or heard thanks for any HELP ON THIS :confused:
