To protect the truck's body, this owner added nerf bars. As you can see, they protected the rockers but decreased the amount of ground clearance. And since they stick out far from the body and are mounted low, they got caught on the rock. Unfortunately, the driver also positioned the truck where the rock could slap around the front driveshaft.
