Installing the lift kit requires the removal of the front axle. Since weak lower control-arm brackets are a problem for XJs and TJs, Currie boxed these brackets. The brace strengthens the bracket and creates a ramped skidplate. First, we ground down the lower control-arm bracket on the axle. Once smooth, two steel plates (which can be purchased from Currie) were welded to the assembly. View Related Article
