Install the new crankshaft damper and the pickup-sensor bracket. The bracket bolts to the oil pan using three bolts removed during disassembly. Install the pickup sensor on the bracket with the bolt provided. There should be 0.020 to 0.060 inch of clearance between the sensor and the crankshaft damper. This clearance is critical to the operation of the system. View Related Article
