This type of tread design, generally referred to as a mud-terrain, is for the enthusiast who doesn’t mind the roughest and noisiest ride of the treads shown here. It also wears out the quickest. The reward is that the high void ratio can really help traction, but the tire most likely must be aired down for conformability.
