Land Rover’s Discovery, although offering a transfer-case locking differential (in high or low range), does not employ any mechanical differentials inside either solid axle. Rather, a high-tech computer-controlled antilock braking system will both keep the tires from skidding during hard braking and limit the amount of wheelspin during hillclimbs.
