Ford’s automatic E40D (four-speed overdrive) didn’t make the Pan Pan sidebar, so take a good, long look here. The driver side of the pan has a straight edge, while the passenger side is straight then dips into an L shape. These trannies are massive and are hard to confuse with other automatics.
