If you’re looking for lightweight, non-rusting, easy-to-install, inexpensive body protection for your Jeep Wrangler JK, you may want to look at Bushwacker’s Trail Armor. It’s made of Duraflex 2000 TPO material that bends instead of breaks and then returns to its original shape. This means you’ll get minor ding, dent, and scratch protection but not full-on body protection like that provided by steel or aluminum body armor. Most Trail Armor products easily adhere using automotive-grade, high-bond tape. We recently had the opportunity to watch as several pieces of Bushwacker Trail Armor were installed on a four-door JK at Moab Offroad in Louisville, Kentucky. It’s also worth noting that Bushwacker offers a number of Trail Armor products for the Jeep TJ/LJ. Here’s an overview of this super easy install. Pictured here is the Bushwacker Trail Armor that we installed. From top to bottom, there’s the Door Sill Plate & Rocker Combo (MSRP $178), the Hood and Tailgate Protector (MSRP $130), and the Rear Corner Pieces (MSRP $105). We also installed the Air Scoop (MSRP $44) that is designed to enhance airflow into the HVAC system.Pictured here is the Bushwacker Trail Armor that we installed.
