Rockcrawling is the most difficult work for axles because in this form of 'wheeling, there is generally more grip and more weight transfer. The transfer is even greater with shorter rigs. This flatfender is at about 30 degrees. At that angle, the rear tires have approximately 35 percent more weight than they do on level ground and the weight on the front tires has been reduced by about the same amount.
