Dana 60 Upgrades - Busting Knuckles
Here is a side-by-side comparison of old Cracky and his Reid Racing replacement. Note the Reid Racing unit features a stronger, Chevy-style casting, and the location of the steering arm is lower than the Ford location. When installing these knuckles on a Ford truck with stock steering, the tie-rod ends must be switched to ones with a Chevy taper and the tie rod flipped to the top of the arms. As with most custom applications, I used aftermarket high-steer components, so the arm location didn't matter.
