Letting HFBE work on dissolving the crystalline lead sulfate can, as seen here, largely restore the battery plates to their original appearance and function. Preventing the sulfation in the first place is preferable to trying to reverse the process-but like smoking, it's probably never too late to start doing the right thing. View Related Article
