Chevrolet Bowtie Sportsman Engine Cylinder Walls
One of the many reasons we like the Bowtie Sportsman block better than other blocks on the market is because it features siamesed cylinder walls, which allows for additional cylinder-bore volume without worrying about running out of material. If you bore out a non-siamesed block, typically it won't cool well. We plan to punch our cylinders to .030 inch over.

Chevrolet Bowtie Sportsman Engine Tapped Access Port

This can be used for a temperature sensor, or it can simply be plugged and used as a drain when winterizing the engine for prolonged storage. Little features like these make all the difference later on.

Chevrolet Bowtie Sportsman Engine Rear Main Seal Assembly
