2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited Grease Ball
Before assembly, grease is applied to the ball. Once assembled, the GyroJoints are fully greaseable via Zerk fittings. Special lips are molded into the urethane sockets which keep contaminants from entering the socket, assuring a long life. All the joint's components are easily replaceable without presses or special tools should the need arise.

2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited Frame Rail
Each GryoJoint subframe fits around a framerail above the center skidplate and is interlocked between them via nine bolts: four through crush sleeves that must be welded into the framerails, the three original bolts that hold the center skidplate; and two more that connect the subframes directly to the skidplate. Here we are marking the locations to drill the holes. This hole drilling is probably the most labor-intensive part of the installation. Nth Degree hopes to offer a partially weld-on kit in the future which would greatly reduce the overall installation time and eliminate the need for crush sleeves and drilling holes altogether.

Here is our brand-new silver guinea pig all ready for surgery in Nth Degree's spotless new facility outside Carson City, Nevada. The installation took two full days, but the vehicle that emerged was a far superior machine to the one seen here.
