2007 Chevy Silverado Z71 Remove Differential
1. Installation requires removing the diff, a two-person job. The diff's passenger-side mounting ear must be lopped off to clear the kit's brackets. Superlift does offer a return-to-stock-height bracket kit if, for some silly reason, you ever wish to devolve.

2. The factory diff crossmember mount must be clearanced. The intruding area is cut with a reciprocating saw or torch, then the kit's patch panels are welded in place. This, along with the previous step, is the only chassis cutting/welding required.

5. This installation was on an Autoride-equipped vehicle. The factory coilovers are disassembled with a strut compressor and reconfigured with a short preload ring below the coil and a spacer bracket on the top. On non-Autoride vehicles, new coilover bodies provide the lift.

6. All replacement knuckle designs increase track width somewhat, plus the diff is lowered 1 inch less than the lower control arms in order to achieve an ideal driveshaft angle. These two factors increase the distance between the differential centersection and the wheel hubs, making the CV axleshafts a tad short. Billet-aluminum CV axle spacers restore the proper axle length.

2007 Chevy Silverado Z71 6Inch Lift
Superlift offers two versions of the 6-inch lift, with the difference being front lift method. Replacement, lifetime-warranted monotube gas coilover bodies (left) are offered for 1/2-tons not equipped with the factory Autoride electronic shock option. The second version (right) is a coilover spacer system, which allows Autoride owners to keep this impressive option.

2007 Chevy Silverado Z71 Front Lift
Front lift comes from replacement knuckles and one-piece lower control-arm crossmembers. Brackets lower the diff, billet CV axle spacers ensure proper axle engagement, and kicker braces add rigidity. Rear lift for SUVs (shown) consists of new coils and four-link relocation bracketry; pickups get either 5-inch blocks or replacement springs. Three different rear shock types are offered for pickups: Standard Superide, gas monotube (SS series), or gas with remote reservoir (SSR series).
