If you like some shine and really low weight with your ball mount, this Valley aluminum unit is for you. Available in drop versions from 2 to 8 inches and rated at 8,000 pounds, they should fit in most applications. Pictured is a 2-inch drop/1-inch rise. Below is Valley's antirattle Locking Hitch Pin, which keeps a ball mount from flopping around in the receiver by squeezing it to one side. Unfortunately, it only works with hollow-tube ball mounts, and the stylish aluminum mount is a solid bar, so you can't combine the two.
