This 12R-15 tire had an enormous impact on four-wheeling as we know it, but the first BFGoodrich All-Terrains weren't radials, and it took a while before the Radial T/A became accepted by the masses after its 1976 debut. Once the radial concept caught on with the street/trail crowd, it nearly made bias-ply tires completely obsolete, however. Now the venerable All-Terrain T/A comes as original equipment on several four-wheel-drive vehicles. View Related Article
