Truck Wheel Rims Rugged Ridge
The wheels from Rugged Ridge and AEV are made specifically for Jeep vehicles. They are engineered to fit these vehicles exactly, and that includes a hub-centric design. That means that the center of the wheel (arrow) is machined to fit exactly around the flange on the vehicle's axles. This is the way the factory does it for a precise fit. Additionally, they have optimal offset and brake clearance for these Jeep applications.

Truck Wheel Rims Dick Cepek Dc1
Clearance for brake calipers, and in some cases suspension components, must be considered when choosing a wheel. Some wheels, such as the Dick Cepek DC-1 wheel shown here, are designed specifically for late-model vehicles with large brake packages. This is one reason that you should not decrease the wheel diameter from stock. Even keeping the same wheel diameter can create an issue. Never grind the wheels, brake, or suspension components for added clearance. If the new wheels don't fit, don't use them.

The Pro Comp Series 1028 wheel wins the "extra-thick wheel lip" award. This simulated beadlock has a lip that's nearly 1-inch thick for some serious wheel and tire protection. Neither the bolts nor the simulated beadlock ring are removable, but we doubt you could ever mangle these wheels beyond use. This is one of Pro Comp's most popular designs.

Truck Wheel Rims Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Most newer 4x4s are equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). The sensors for these systems are integrated with the valvestems-so if your valve stems looks like this, your vehicle has TPMS. Some aftermarket wheels accommodate this and some don't -all wheels shown in this article accept TPMS. Also, you have a couple of options when buying new wheels. You can move your factory TPMS to the new wheels, but this will require breaking down your old wheels and tires. Or you can purchase new TPMS, with prices ranging from about $80 to $200 per sensor.

Truck Wheel Rims Simulated Beadlocks
If you want the serious off-road look of a beadlock without the hassle, several companies make simulated beadlocks. While we are usually apprehensive about anything just for appearance's sake, even these have a useful benefit off-road: The outer ring adds protection for the wheel lip and tire against trail debris. You can add an optional steel simulated beadlock ring from Rugged Ridge wheels (shown) by removing the button head screws supplied with the wheels and replacing them with longer bolts supplied with the ring.
