Rick Jensen was an alternate at this year’s Top Truck Challenge and brought out his gnarly 1963 International Scout 80 which is built low, wide and mean with a pair of 2.5-Ton military Rockwell axles. Rick built his International Scout to handle the stresses of Top Truck Challenge and although he didn’t get to run all the events this year, he definitely gave it his all anytime he got a chance to wheel through the challenges. His International Scout 80 is definitely as tough as the Nebraska Cornhusker’s Blackshirts!
Although Rick was only an alternate this year, he was nice enough to volunteer to help rescue stuck rigs near the end of the Tank Trap. We really hope he gets voted in for next year’s Top Truck Challenge because we’d really love to see the 440 c.i. big block Dodge V8 scream through the Tank Trap as well as all the other challenges.
