Simplicity was a top priority when it came to King's engine and drivetrain. The rig is powered by propane, which eliminates the need for a fuel pump, injection system and filtration. The Mopar 360 V-8 was bored to 408 cubic inches and freshened with a set of Eagle forged pistons and a mild Lunati camshaft. King relies on a good old-fashioned Impco vaporizer and tried-and-true mechanical ingenuity throughout.
