Out back, the quasi Sami has a setup that is very similar to the front. There’s a 2½-ton Rockwell axle with Ouverson Violator axleshafts, Ouverson Violator spool, and a pinion brake using a Mazda rotor and Toyota caliper. Also like the front, the suspension sports a pair of Sway-A-Way RaceRunner 18-inch-travel air shocks, Sway-A-Way hydraulic bumpstops, and Poly Performance limiting straps. And yep, the steering system is also similar in that it uses PSC components and a Surplus Centre double-ended steering ram. Both the front and rear axles are spun by custom driveshafts that were designed and built by Hall and utilize 1410 U-joints.
