Engine Shot

Five hundred and two cubic inches of fuel-injected, big-block goodness are what propels the little buggy. It’s a GM Ram Jet crate engine that has been fitted with Sanderson headers that flow into a single exhaust with Dynomax mufflers. Those valve cover numbers? A good-natured ruse. In front of the engine is a Derale cooler with 8-inch electric fan and it’s used to cool the power steering. Mated to the engine is a Performance Torque Converters TH400 transmission with manual valve body. Behind that is an Atlas 4.3:1 two-speed transfer case.
