Challengers Weigh In

We know that you're itching to know a little more about our 2013 Top Truck Challenge Competitors so we decided to ask them a few questions to give you a better idea of who they are and why they've decided to attempt the ultimate off road torture test! Find out why Glen Green has decided to compete in Top Truck Challenge 2013!

Q: What TTC event are you most looking forward to?
A: "The event I'm most looking forward to is definitely the mud pit. My roots are in mud and I'm sure that's where my truck will shine."

Q: What TTC event are you not looking forard to?
A: "Anything to do with the rocks because it is the rocks that I have the least experience with. The Tank Trap is obviously the pinnacle event of the competition and I'm very curious to see where my truck stands among the competition."

Q: When in a tough spot are you more likely to throttle out or think it through?
A: "It definitely depends on my mood and on the situation, lol. I do however like to solve the problem wtih a heavy right foot if possible."

Q: Are you making any changes to your rig before TTC?
A: "The truck isn't undergoing any critical changes. I'm running the same tires and drivetrain, however I've had to do some engine upgrades and basic maintenance as well as tune the suspension a little bit."

Q: How is your spotter/co-driver training for TTC?
A: "My spotter/co-driver is my brother and probably knows every move I'm ging to make before I make it, so no extra training is necessary."

Q: If you could go wheeling anywhere in the world, where would that be?
A: "That's a tough one because I've only gone four-wheeling around where I live and grew up. Top Truck is by far the furthest I've ever traveled to go wheeling."

Q: What's playing on your iPod/CD player right now?
A: "I'm a big country music fan, but right now I would say I'm probably listening to Jason Aldean and some good old-fashioned Guns 'n Roses."

Q: What was the last movie you watched?
A: "The last movie I watched was probably some cartoon with my kids."

Q: Do you have an aversion to poison oak, wild boar, or submerged engines?
A: "Poison oak and wild boar do not make me nervous, but we will do our best to stay away from a submerged engine."

Q: What's one thing people should know about you?
A: "I don't know really how to describe myself or one thing people should know about me other than I'm a hard working family man that has a real passion for four-wheeling and the outdoors and have loved it since I was in a car seat myself. And I probably have the best wife in the world for putting up with me and my endless money pit of a truck."
