We know that you're itching to know a little more about our 2013 Top Truck Challenge Competitors so we decided to ask them a few questions to give you a better idea of who they are and why they've decided to attempt the ultimate off road torture test! Find out why Pepe Palomo has decided to compete in Top Truck Challenge 2013!

Q: What TTC event are you most looking forward to?
A: "I would have to say the Frame Twister, probably because I've followed TTC since 1993 and that is the one obstacle that I've tried to figure out but never felt I could. Every time I've watched it in videos I've tried to pick my line from home and when someone takes that line the results are always diferent than I expect. So in reality, I'm intrigued and really curious as to how this obstacle is in person. I don't think there is a particular strategy to hit the logs. Everyone's results are going to vary depending on a little bit of luck, and the accidental right line."

Q: What TTC event are you not looking forward to?
A: "The TTC event I'm least looking forward to is going to have to be the Mud Pit. Mainly because I'm the underdog of the whole group. I'm the only vehicle competing this year with a four-cylinder engine."

Q: When in a tough spot are you more likely to throttle out or think it through?
A: "Definitely think it through. I'm not a throttle junky and my driving style is a little more conservative."

Q: Are you making changes to your rig before TTC?
A: "I am. We are currently adding full hydraulic steering as well as Reid Racing knuckles. We are also switching the front suspension from leaf springs to coilovers."

Q: How is your spotter/co-driver training for TTC?
A: "My co-driver is my brother. He knows how long I have been a fan of TTC and he has also followed along throughout the years. His training, I believe, is watching the past TTC videos and studying the obstacles."

Q: If you could go wheeling anywhere in the world, where would that be?
A: "If I had to choose just one place I would have to say Thailand. The U.S. has MANY beautiful places to wheel. I have wheeled in many different areas here as well as in Central America. There are some in South America as well that I would love to get out to."

Q: What's playing on your iPod/CD player right now?
A: "Social Distortion."

Q: What was the last movie you watched?
A: "Parental Guidance. I watched it last night."

Q: Do you have an adverse reaction to poison oak, wild boar, or submerged engines?
A: "Not at all."

Q: What's one thing people should know about you?
A: "Off-road is my life. There is no other sport I'm into. Everything in my life revolves around Four Wheeling."
