Strapped to the 63-inch 3/4-ton GM leaf springs is a 14-bolt axle that’s fitted with a Detroit Locker, Crane diff cover, and 4.88 Yukon gears. Feeding the 1-ton frontend is a 49-degree driveshaft, which gets its turning input from an NP205 transfer case. Additional gear reduction and driveline control is handled by a NorthWest Fab Black Box and High Angle Driveline T-case parking brake.
