Packed inside the 540ci stroked big-block is a set of forged pistons; Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet heads; custom camshaft; and 11:1 compression ratio. The K&S Machine Shop out of Kelowna, British Columbia, handled the engine’s machine work. A 950cfm Quick Fuel Technology carburetor and Weiand intake add fuel and airflow. To handle the electronic needs, an Optima YellowTop battery was used along with NGK sparkplugs, and a MSD 6AL ignition box. The estimated 600hp and 655 lb-ft of torque is kept cool by a four-core radiator and the oil stays fresh and flowing courtesy of a Moroso deep-sump pan and Melling oil pump.
