There’s meat underneath the Taco in the form of a Dana 60 front axle. This axle has a number of mods including Reid Racing heavy-duty knuckles, a Detroit Locker, chromoly 35-spline axleshafts, and 5.38 gears. The flexy suspension consists of a three-link setup (the links have spherical rod ends at each connection point) with 14-inch-travel King remote-reservoir coilovers, rubber bumpstops, and a Pro Comp center-mounted limiting strap. No matter what the terrain, aiming the big tires is easy thanks to a Trail-Gear hydraulic steering with Sky Manufacturing five-stud steering arms.
