Beneath the bonnet lies a 454ci V-8 that list a 10.5:1 compression ratio; Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons; 781 cast heads; Comp camshaft; ACCEL Super Ram TPI; Thruster DFI ECM; and machine work by Jone’s Engine Machining. A four-core radiator and dual-electric fans from a junkyard keep the rig cool, and a battery from a Volvo semi-truck keeps things charged. Keeping the estimated 450hp and 550 lb-ft of torque engine lubed is a Melling oil pump along with the stock 10-quart oil pan.
