Ten questions for Top Truck Challenge 2015 alternate Jason Moon from White City, Oregon, driving a ’91 Chevy K5 Blazer.

Q. Why do you want to compete in TTC?
A. “It has been a lifelong dream of mine.”

Q. What TTC event are you most looking forward to?
A. “The Tank Trap. It seems to be a challenge for many competitors, and I feel it will be one of our strong points.”

Q. What TTC event are you not looking forward to?
A. “The Coal Chute. It is better suited for short wheelbase vehicles, and that's not the case with the Blazer.”

Q. Are you making changes to your rig before TTC?
A. “Yes. We have already lowered maximum compression and vehicle height by 4 inches. Stripping the interior and body for as little weight as possible. We decided to focus on a more competition-style build.”

Q. Will you and your spotter/co-driver be training for TTC?
A. “Yes, we will be dancing to ‘Bringing Sexy Back’ by Justin Timberlake and bench pressing our grandson!”

Q. If you could go wheeling anywhere in the world, where would that be?
A. “My backyard because I have an awesome playground out my back door and enjoy spending my few days home with family and friends.”

Q. What's playing on your iPod/CD player right now?
A. “Ain't It Fresh (The Oregon Song), by Alcyon Massive.”

Q. What was the last movie you watched?
A. “Every Top Truck Challenge YouTube video posted.”

Q. Do you have an aversion to poison oak, earthquakes, or a submerged engine?
A. Anywhere but at the Top Tuck Challenge. As long as there's no snakes, there won't be a problem.”

Q. What's one thing people should know about you?
A. “I'm flat broke now, and by broke I mean $3 in my account. But I have a badass Blazer so watch me do a burnout!”
