Driver: Jim "Mac" McMillan

Occupation:PR manager for Yukon Gear & Axle

Where did you come from?:Oak Harbor, WA

Did you tow it out or drive it?:Towed of course! The Super Duty has way more creature comforts than the TJ.

How long have you been off-roading?:10 years

What got you into 4x4s?:A friend of mine bought a CJ-5 and locked and lifted it, we hit a couple of trails with the local 4x4 club and I was hooked from there.

Favorite part of the trip:Turning off the CB at night! And the sand, most of us have played on the sand before, and how often do you get to jump a TJ 30 feet twice in one shot, and flog the crap out of a magazine editor's K5 all in one day?

Funniest thing you saw happen:Me getting depantsed in the hotel parking lot are too close to call.

What was your least favorite part of the trip?:The mud that cost me $50 at the car wash, a $100 CB radio, $200 car stereo (the pressure washer on the interior took that out) and the next year of finding mud in places you would never guess mud could get.

Hardtop, soft top, or no top:Bikini top

Would you want to work for a 4x4 mag now that you've met us and seen what we do?:I've met all you fools a bunch of times and if I was single and it paid better I would love to spend a couple years doing it.

Would you kick out your co-driver if we had a supermodel to ride in your truck?:I'd kick him out if you just had a kind of cute chick to ride with me (supermodels are old news, been there, done that, got the T-shirt)

Would you do it again next year, or would it be asking too much of your battered body?:I think I would, but I would definitely have a broken CB; for next year's trip (funny how Jerrod never had a working CB the entire trip...)

Favorite truck on the trip (besides your own):John's Bronco

Co-Driver:David Walace
